  • Species Protection Assessment

    For the path groups East, South and West at Lake Störmthal in the Espenhain open-cast mining territory, eight updates of the species protection expert reports were carried out.

    The updating of the species-protection technical contributions comprised the surveys for the following species groups:

    • birds
    • amphibians
    • reptiles
    • dragonflies
    • butterflies
    • wild bees

    as well as

    • overview inspection
    • biotope-type mapping
    • protected biotopes § 30 BNatSchG in conjunction with § 21 SächsNatSchG
    • FFH habitat types
    • cavity and eyrie trees

  • SPA Preliminary Assessment

    For the path groups South and West at Lake Störmthal in the Espenhain open-cast mining territory, five SPA pre-assessments were carried out.
